Deming [photo by Hugh Dillon] My name is Deming Love.

Welcome to my virtual home on the World Wide Web.

I live with my two dogs in center city Philadelphia, where I work for a national non-profit foundation as its web architect. In this capacity I am responsible for all enterprise-level web-based applications, supervising both their ongoing development and expansion and their maintenance and support.

My educational background is heavily grounded in the liberal arts: my high-school years were spent at Moorestown Friends School, an independent Quaker prep school near my childhood home in southern New Jersey; then as an undergraduate attending the College of Arts and Sciences at The University of Pennsylvania, I majored in English Literature. I subsequently earned a master's degree in the same discipline from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Penn, attending classes while working full-time.

photo of Geisha My technical expertise has been acquired through professional experience and extensive continuing education. I am accomplished in hands-on technical programming and software/application development, as well as in visual design (and related software). I also have first-hand experience effectively managing on-site and off-shore programming resources, including third-party vendors and subordinate technical staff. photo of Genji

My professional strength is a result of a diverse technical skill set overlaying a sophisticated sense of visual design, both complemented by excellent communication and management skills. As a result, I am quickly able to develop web-based applications that are intuitive to use and that efficiently manage workflow routing and business-process automation.
